  • Who I am as a Physician:
    I'm an Orthopedic Surgeon and sub specialist in Musculoskeletal Oncology who has been practicing medicine for the past 24 years.
    I graduated from Uniformed Services University of Health Sciences (USUHS) in 1990 with a M.D. In 1991, while stationed at Wright Patterson AFB, I completed my Internship of General Surgery at Wright State University. I finished my Orthopedic Surgeon Residency program at Wilford Hall Medical Center at Lackland AFB, San Antonio, TX and have 20+ years of experience in Orthopedics.
    In 2003 I was accepted to exceptional Orthopedic Oncologist Fellowship program at the highly acclaimed M.D. Anderson Cancer Center in Houston Texas. I have over 10 years of experience in the sub specialized field of Oncology.
    In my last tour of my 29+ years in the United States Air Force I served as the 59th Medical Wing Orthopedic and Rehabilitation Squadron Commander (O-6) as well as the Deputy Chair for the entire Orthopedics and Rehabilitation Department for the San Antonio Medical Military Center from 2008-2010.
    After retiring from the Air Force in 2010, I began working as an Orthopedic Oncology specialist for Surgery Oncology Associates in San Antonio Texas until 2013. I now currently reside in the magnificent city of El Paso Texas and I am the Oncology specialist at El Paso Orthopaedic Surgery Group as of 2013 - present.
