- Dr. Spencer Greene is an emergency physician, medical toxicologist, and addiction medicine physician based in Kingwood, TX. He completed his residency in emergency medicine at Vanderbilt University Medical Center and a fellowship in medical toxicology at the University of Arizona College of Medicine-Phoenix. Dr. Greene. He is a Clinical Professor at the University of Houston Tilman J. Fertitta Family College of Medicine. His research focuses on envenomations, anticonvulsant overdoses, and antimuscarinic toxicity. He has authored more than 70 book chapters and scholarly articles and is the recipient of multiple teaching and clinical awards.
Dr. Greene directs the Houston Venom Conference and the Houston Environmental and Toxicological Emergency Responders (HEATER) conferences and serves as the Chair of the American College of Medical Toxicology (ACMT) Toxinology section.
