Overview of Dr. Mahadev
I am a gastrointestinal endoscopist and assistant professor of medicine at Weill Cornell-NYP.
During residency and fellowship at Columbia, I received a scholarship to complete a Masters of Science in clinical research methods. I then completed a year of specialised minimally-invasive endoscopy training at New York University under the mentorship of Dr. Gregory Haber.
My goal is to improve the care of patients who require endoscopy. My research interests include large dataset analysis, disparities in the quality of detection and management of early colorectal neoplasia, post-bariatric complications, and novel endoscopic resection techniques. My clinical interests lie in pancreatic and biliary disease, and endoscopic detection and management early esophageal, gastric, and colonic neoplasms.
