Before his current position, he worked at Atrium Health/Levine Cancer Institute Charlotte NC; and prior to that he was the Director of Medical Oncology at Cox Health, Springfield MO. His is experienced in treating a wide range of cancers and blood disorders with specific focus in treating hospitalized patients and delivering complex cancer treatments in the hospital.

He has contributed to several publications, notably in Clinical and Applied Thrombosis/hemostasis, Neuroscience, The American Journal of the Medical Sciences, Neuron, and the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences.
