- Dr. English is a board-certified neurologist with subspecialty interest in cerebrovascular disease. His clinical focus includes the acute management of ischemic and hemorrhagic stroke; implementation of telemedicine and new technologies for the treatment of acute neurologic emergencies; cerebrovascular disorders including carotid artery disease, intracranial atherosclerosis, cervical arterial dissection, vascular malformations, cerebral small vessel disease, cerebral amyloid angiopathy, vasculitis, and brain aneurysms; and complex clinical decisions following cardioembolic stroke including atrial fibrillation management, left atrial appendage closure, and patent foramen ovale (PFO) closure. In addition to his clinical activities, Dr. English is actively involved in both education and clinical research.
