Summary
- Two years ago we bought a farm in rural Indiana. Elizabeth grows grapes and veggies; I grow hops and fruit trees. Bees are so far the only livestock. At the same time, we remain active in the profession. Elizabeth is Professor of Pathology at UIC; and I see patients several days a week at the nearby Westville Correctional Center, serve as Voluntary Medical Advisor to the local Kankakee Valley Volunteer Fire Department, and maintain a small private practice limited to house calls.
