Dr. Stephen Yang is a general thoracic surgeon in Baltimore, MD and is affiliated with multiple hospitals in the area, including Johns Hopkins Hospital and Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center. He received his medical degree from the Medical College of Virginia/Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine and has been in practice 27 years. He specializes in adult general thoracic surgery, minimally invasive/robotic thoracic surgery, thoracic surgical oncology, and cardiovascular surgery and is experienced in esophageal cancer, mesothelioma, lung cancer, chest wall tumors, and pectus repair. As a surgical educator, he is the Examination and MOC Chair for the American Board of Thoracic Surgery, and sits on the Thoracic Surgery Residency Review Committee of the ACGME.
