He completed his medical education at Indiana University School of Medicine in 1986, followed by residencies in Internal Medicine at SUNY Buffalo, and Radiation Oncology at University of Rochester. Previously, he was the practice owner of Southtown’s Radiation Oncology, PC in West Seneca, NY and he served as an Assistant Professor of Radiation Medicine at Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center (Buffalo, NY). Most recently, he was the Medical Director of UPMC Northwest Hillman Cancer Center (Seneca, PA). Published articles include his research on radiation therapy for prevention of heterotopic ossification, which have been referenced multiple times in the scientific literature. Retired from full-time practice since 2024 at age 70, he currently works as a part-time locum tenens physician, and now lives in Oil City, PA
