- Steven L Haddad MD is an orthopaedic surgeon who attended medical school at The Johns Hopkins University (1985-1989), residency at Georgetown University Department of Orthopaedic Surgery (1989-1995) and performed a Foot and Ankle Fellowship at the Union Memorial Hospital (1995-1996) with Mark Myerson Fellowship Director. He is past president of the American Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Society (2013-2014), past president of the Orthopaedic Learning Center Board of Directors (2018-2019), and is the current chair of the AAOS CME Courses Committee. His research awards include the Roger H. Michael Award and the Roger Mann Award, and teaching awards include the James K Stack Resident Teaching Award and six-time winner of the Best Lecturer Award at the JBJS/Miller Orthopaedic Review Course (2013, 2014, 2016, 2018, 2019, 2023). He has been heavily involved in total ankle arthroplasty design since 2008, first for Wright Medical Technologies, and now for Stryker Orthopaedics. He lectures domestically and internationally on this topic and other topics concerning complex foot and ankle reconstruction. Most important, he is a certified River Cruise Docent for the Chicago Architecture Center and a Luthier Building Guitars.
