Overview of Dr. Amateau
My clinical interests broadly cover the entire realm of therapeutic endoscopy including management of pancreaticobiliary disease, technically difficult luminal disease and novel endoscopic therapies of obesity. In doing so, I carefully employ various endoscopic techniques including interventional ERCP, interventional EUS, enteroscopy, device assisted ERCP, endoscopic mucosal resection, crytotherapy, radiofrequency ablation, enteral dilation and stent placement, cystogastrostomy, necrosectomy as well as celiac plexus block and neurolysis. My research interests include development and implementation of novel endoscopic techniques and devices.
