Summary

I am board certified in cardiovascular disease and interventional cardiology. I am a fellow of the American College of Cardiology, Society of Cardiovascular Angiography and Intervention and Society of Vascular Medicine.

I completed internal medicine and cardiology training at the Ochsner Medical Center in New Orleans and received special training in echocardiography and interventional cardiology at the University of Birmingham in Alabama.

After fellowship completion, I worked at Louisiana State University Hospital in New Orleans and served as the Director of Cardiac Cath Lab and Director of Interventional Cardiology Fellowship. I have been working at Jamaica Hospital and Lenox Hill Hospital since 2006.
I have received the Young Investigator awards by the local chapters of American College of Cardiology in Louisiana and Alabama. I have presented clinical research work at multiple scientific meetings including American Heart Association, American College of Cardiology, and Society for Coronary Angiography and Intervention. I am author and co-author in over 120 abstracts, manuscripts, and book chapters published in medical journals including Journal of American College of Cardiology, Journal of American Heart Association, and Society of Coronary Angiography and Intervention.
