I am a physcian-scientist and nephrologist in Chicago, Illinois and Chief of Nephrology/Hypertension at the Feinberg School of Medicine, Director of the Feinberg Cardiovascular and Renal Research Institute and Professor of Medicine at Northwestern University. My career focus aims to bridge discovery science and clinical medicine to implement new treatments for patients with kidney and vascular diseases. Areas of specialty include glomerular diseases, thrombotic microangiopathies and diabetic kidney disease.
