Summary

• Susan L Samson MD PhD, PRCPC FACE is Professor and Chair of Endocrinology Mayo Clinic Florida in Jacksonville and Consultant Departments of Medicine and Neurosurgery. She was President of the American Association of Clinical Endocrinology and 2025 and also served as Secretary/Treasurer of the American Program Directors of Endocrinology and Metabolism (APDEM) and taskforce member for the Accreditation Council of Graduate Medical Education (Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism Fellowship Milestones 2.0) and she is the current Chair of the American Board of Internal Medicine Longitudinal Knowledge Assessment Approval Committee for Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism. Her clinical interests are in pituitary disorders and she has served as site principal investigator as well as an international steering chair for clinical trials for patients with acromegaly, Cushing’s disease and growth hormone deficiency. She also has been a member of several international consensus panels including for acromegaly and prolactinomas. She is a member of the Editorial Board of the journal Pituitary and is the co-editor of the book Pituitary Disorders Throughout the Lifecycle.
