- Sylvia Hsu, MD, is a Philadelphia-based dermatologist with extensive expertise in general dermatology and conditions such as psoriasis, autoimmune bullous dermatoses, acne vulgaris, and complex medical dermatology. She serves as a Professor and Chair of Dermatology at both the Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University and Temple University Hospital since 2017. Dr. Hsu completed her dermatology residency at Sidney Kimmel Medical College and her internal medicine internship at Graduate Hospital. She is a graduate of Baylor College of Medicine, where she also received the Master Clinician Lifetime Achievement Award. A recipient of the Founders Award from the Philadelphia Dermatological Society and the William D. James, MD Mentor of the Year Award, her work has been published in several medical journals, including JAAD Case Reports and the Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology.
