Summary
- I am currently a certified health worker assisting the CEAL team of the UNTHSC. My license is through the state of Texas and I participate in other group projects with CARDS. I am currently a candidate for physician assistant placement at UTSW. My work includes partnering with both The North Texas and Dallas Agency on Aging organizations as well as Sixty and Better to teach and coach self-management programs for diabetes, chronic disease and chronic pain. Also, I am a certified Matter of Balance coach. I serve on the AAWC Communications Committee and am a member of the AAWC, ADCES, and the DFW-CHW Association. It is my pleasure to continue my growth with many partners in preventive health, public health, and the fight against Type 2 diabetes and COVID-19. Limb and eye sight preservation are indeed at the very top of my list to achieve quality of life for all that I am fortunate enough to serve.
