- Terri Nordin, MD, is an Assistant Professor of Family Medicine at Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and founding Program Director for the Mayo Clinic Family Medicine Residency – Eau Claire program who also serves as Associate Dean for Medicine and Laboratory Specialties a Mayo Clinic School of Graduate Medical Education. She graduated from the University of Iowa Carver College of Medicine in Iowa City and completed both residency and a maternity care fellowship at Rutgers-Robert Wood Johnson Medical School Family Medicine Residency in New Jersey.
She is passionate about teaching residents and medical students how to provide high-quality, patient-centered care. Dr. Nordin has co-authored articles on personal doctoring, Patient-Centered Medical Home, the importance of the doctor-patient relationship, and optimizing outpatient precepting in primary care.
When not at work, she enjoys snowshoeing, knitting socks, and playing board games with her husband and two sons who are now taller than she is.
