He is Director Emeritus of Endocrinology and Metabolism at the James J. Peters Veterans Affairs Medical Center and the Division of Endocrinology at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. He has served as the Baumritter Professor of Medicine since 1979. Dr. Davies has extensive experience in thyroid disorders, calcium and bone metabolism, thyroid cancer, and thyroid issues related to pregnancy. His research includes 500 publications in reputable journals such as Endocrinology and the Journal of the Endocrine Society. Over his career, he has received multiple accolades, including being listed in America's Top Doctors and Top Doctors: New York Metro Area by Castle Connolly and is a past President of the American Thyroid Association.
