Dr. Terry Vik is a pediatric hematologist and oncologist based in Indianapolis, IN, specializing in pediatric coagulation disorders, hematologic oncology, and solid tumor oncology. He completed his medical education at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, followed by a pediatrics residency at UCLA and a pediatric hematology/oncology fellowship at Boston Children’s Hospital. Since 1991, he has served as a professor at Riley Hospital for Children at IU Health and a clinical professor at the Indiana University School of Medicine. Dr. Vik has expertise in cancer survivorship, early phase drug development, and global health in pediatric oncology. His recent publications focus on cancer care in Kenya. He is involved in the Childhood Cancer Survivor Study as a principal investigator. Dr. Vik has been recognized as one of America’s Top Doctors and featured in Indianapolis Monthly by Castle Connolly multiple times from 2005 to 2016.
