- Thomas J. Walsh, MD, MS is a University of Washington Professor and Vice Chair of Urology, Director of The UW Men’s Health Center and program director for the University of Washington Andrology Fellowship. Walsh graduated with honors from Northwestern University’s Feinberg School of Medicine and completed his general and urological surgery training at the University of Washington. He received his masters in Epidemiology from the UW School of Public Health while serving as a National Research Service Award fellow. He completed a fellowship in male infertility and sexual dysfunction at the University of California San Francisco and subsequently joined the UCSF urology faculty as the first Eunice Kennedy Shriver National Institute of Childhood Health and Human Development Male Reproductive Health Research Scholar. Walsh’s clinical and research interests focus on male sexual and reproductive health. His research program emphasizes male sexual dysfunction, fertility preservation, epidemiology and health services. He is an active contributor to the medical literature as both author and editor. Walsh is a strong advocate for Men’s Health, continually working to elevate awareness of men's health issues and to solve men's most complex health problems.
