  • Dr. Todd Berinstein, MD, Esq, FACS is a board certified and experienced ENT (ear, nose & throat) doctor, with a special interest in diseases of the ear. He has achieved board certification by the American Academy of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery. His status as a fellow of the American College of Surgeons means he is committed to quality care. He is a fellow of the American Accademy of Otolaryngic Allergy, meaning he has met the standards for the practice of ENT Allergy and for better, whole-patient care. He has been working in Vancouver since leaving the US Navy in 1997, first as a solo practitioner, then joining Dr. Donald Newell at Vancouver ENT.
    Dr. Berinstein obtained a bachelors degree in Psycho-Biology from UCLA, then a doctorate in medicine the University of Southern California. His first post-doctoral year internship in surgery was done at Navy Hospital San Diego, and then he served in Navy Mobile Construction Battalion 3 out of Port Hueneme, CA for a year. He returned for ENT training to the U.S. Naval Medical Center, San Diego. In 2007, he spent 6 months in an otology fellowship at the world famous Royal Victorian Eye and Ear Hospital and Bionic Ear Institute, in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia.
