Summary
- I am an actively tri-licensed pharmacist in the DMV. When I was a specialty pharmacist, I facilitated medication access for high cost and reward medications such as oncology, CF, and HCV.
However, I noticed the alarmingly fast rate of not only prevalence of diabetes, but the rising costs associated.
Diabetes is one of the most common diseases in the entire world, but the cost of its treatment and management has been slowly rising due to poor outcomes management.
I pivoted careers last year into specialty sales because I felt strongly that I can actually have a broader impact in my community and patients compared to my former employer.
