Overview of  Dr. Kato

Dr.Kato is a tenured Professor and the Chief of Transplant at NYP/Columbia University Irving Medical Center.
His surgical speciality includes adult and pediatric liver transplant, intestine and multivisceral transplant, and HPB surgery. He is well known to his innovative surgeries, ex vivo surgery in which surgeons take out organs out of the body, remove tumors and reimplant unaffected organs.
