Dr. Toni Biskup is a med-peds hospitalist at the Alaska Native Medical Center in Anchorage, AK. She received her MD and MPH degrees from the University of Iowa Roy J. and Lucille A. Carver College of Medicine in 2008, completed med-peds residency at the University of Maryland in 2012, a fellowship in International Emergency Medicine at University of Illinois, Chicago, and a Master's certificate in Refugee Trauma and Mental Health from Harvard University. Before going into medicine, she was a linguist and educator and remains dedicated to medical education at UME, GME, and faculty development levels. She is dedicated to health equity and has worked with refugees and immigrants for over 25 years, in disaster medicine, and in medical education in low resourced areas. She has been in clinical practice for over 11 years.
