Summary
- I started at St. Luke's Health System in 2011 as a non-invasive cardiologist. I am also an echocardiographer and have an interest in women's heart disease, specifically cardio-obstetrics. In my work in cardio-obstetrics, I developed an interest in the cardiovascular complications of pre-eclampsia and developed a local registry to follow these higher risk women. I also have an interest in medical education and have served as a docent for the year 1 and 2 students in the combined 6-year BA/MD program at the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Medicine since 2011 and completed a Master of Health Professions Education in 2025. In addition, I serve on several hospital and medical school committees.
