Summary

• I'm a general Neurologist who specializes in multiple sclerosis - a disease that I have had since 1987. I know I am fortunate to have acquired the disease at a time when the first disease modifying therapies came out.
  After finishing my residency in Neurology in 1998, I worked for a group practice and then at a hospital as a general neurologist.
  After doing that, I began to realize that people who do not have MS don't (and cannot) understand what multiple sclerosis feels like. That's when I decided to go out on my own and specialize in multiple sclerosis.
