- Vineet Bhandari, MBBS, MD, DM, completed his medical school from the Armed Forces Medical College, Pune, India, followed by Pediatric Residencies and Neonatology Fellowships from the Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education and Research, Chandigarh, India and the University of Connecticut, USA. He worked at Albert Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia (1998-2001) and Yale-New Haven Children’s Hospital in New Haven, CT (2001-2015), before becoming the Chief, Department of Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine at St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children / Hahnemann University Hospital / Temple University Hospital, Philadelphia, PA and a Professor of Pediatrics, Obstetrics and Gynecology at Drexel University College of Medicine in 2015. He joined as the Division Head of Neonatology at The Children’s Regional Hospital at Cooper in 2020. His current academic appointment is as a Vice Chair of Pediatrics for Faculty Development; Professor of Pediatrics, Obstetrics and Gynecology, and Biomedical Sciences at Cooper Medical School of Rowan University, Camden, NJ. He has edited 3 books (Manual of Neonatology, Bronchopulmonary Dysplasia and Tantalizing Therapeutics in Bronchopulmonary Dysplasia) and authored over 375 book chapters and original research articles. He has been continuously funded by the NIH since 2003. He has presented his research at many national and international conferences.
