He completed his gastroenterology fellowship at the Medical College of Georgia after his internal medicine residency and internship at the University of Illinois and Johns Hopkins University, respectively, and graduated from Delhi University College of Medical Sciences in 1990. Dr. Joshi is currently employed by the Ochsner Clinic Foundation at Ochsner Medical Center and holds associate professorships at Tulane University School of Medicine and The University of Queensland Medical School. His clinical expertise includes gastroesophageal reflux, ulcerative colitis, Crohn's disease, hepatic cirrhosis, and transplant hepatology. He has contributed to multiple research publications in the field and is involved in several clinical trials, including studies on advanced endoscopic techniques. Dr. Joshi has received multiple honors, including certifications from Epic Systems Corporation and a Spirit Award from the American Cancer Society.
