• Virginia E. Knight, PA-C, a Williamsburg local, has returned to her hometown community after practicing for 10 years in Northern Virginia. In her clinical practice, she brings a passion for patient education and focuses on creating an open environment for communication and integrative healthcare. Virginia enjoys the wide variety of conditions found in family practice and treating patients of all ages. She also prides herself on providing preventive women's healthcare through annual well woman visits and comprehensive physicals. Virginia received her Bachelor of Science in Biology and Chemistry from Virginia Commonwealth University in 2000 and earned her Master of Physician Assistant Studies from Shenandoah University in 2006. She is nationally certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) and is an active member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants. She has enjoyed over fifteen years of practice in family and internal medicine, urgent care and orthopedic surgery. Virginia is trained to perform a wide variety of minor procedures in office and has a special interest in orthopedic injuries, dermatology and psychiatry. She is also skilled at in-office procedures including wart and skin tag removals, cyst and abscess drainage, acute laceration repairs, biopsies of suspicious skin lesions and therapeutic joint or trigger point injections. Outside of the office, Virginia enjoys spending time with her family in the Hampton Roads area. A travel lover, Virginia also enjoys snorkeling and free diving. She is an avid reader and has an affinity for science fiction novels and movies. Also, previously an art student, she paints and sketches to unwind and often takes on DIY projects around her home.
