• Dr. Virginia Moore, PhD, MSN, APRN, PMHNP is a highly accomplished psychiatric and mental health nurse practitioner with a Ph.D. in Nursing Education from Capella University. She also holds an MSN/PMHNP from the University of South Alabama and a BSN from Berea College. Licensed in multiple states, Dr. Moore, PhD has extensive experience in various mental health settings, including telepsychiatry, private and state hospitals, maximum security prisons, community mental health, private practice, and federal government facilities. Her work spans inpatient and outpatient settings, including emergency rooms and Primary Care-Mental Health Integration teams. She has been instrumental in pioneering telepsychiatry programs, notably with one healthcare system within the Department of Veterans Affairs.
