I work as a pulmonary and critical care medicine physician in Brooklyn, NY. Currently affiliated with NYC Health + Hospitals / Kings County, NYC Health + Hospitals / Coney Island, and SUNY Downstate-University Hospital of Brooklyn. I received my medical degree from Maulana Azad Medical College, New Delhi, which is one of the most prestigious medical schools of India, consistently ranking in top 5. I have been in practice for over 24 years both in US and abroad working in different healthcare systems with vast experience in healthcare delivery to people living in underprivileged and underserved areas. My specialization is in Pulmonary & Critical Care Medicine including medical intensive care, surgical critical care, cardiothoracic and neurocritical care, interstitial lung diseases, pulmonary rehabilitation, and thoracic oncology, asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, thoracentesis, bronchoscopy including robotic and navigational bronchoscopies and endobronchial US. I have more than 15 publications and 70 citings. I am currently board certified by ABIM in Critical Care Medicine, Pulmonary Medicine and Internal Medicine. Actively involved in clinical research, quality improvement projects and resident/ medical student education and mentorship.
