  • Dr. Wallace J. Wang (王朝陽醫生, 腸胃肝膽) is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine at the Sanford I. Weill Medical College of Cornell University. He is an Attending Physician at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital/Weill Cornell Medical Center, NewYork-Presbyterian/Queens, NewYork-Presbyterian/Lower Manhattan Hospital and Mount Sinai Beth Israel.

    Dr. Wang manages patients with all types of gastrointestinal disorders and hepatopancreaticobiliary diseases. He specializes in therapeutic procedures including Colonoscopy, Upper Endoscopy, Endoscopic Mucosal Resection.

    Dr. Wang received his medical degree from New York Medical College. He completed a residency in Internal Medicine at Albany Medical Center, the main teaching hospital of Albany Medical College-- where he also served as Chief Resident. He completed his Gastroenterology Fellowship training at NewYork-Presbyterian/Queens. He pursued additional subspecialty training with an Advanced Therapeutic Endoscopy Fellowship at Mount Sinai Beth Israel, under the guidance of Dr. David L. Carr-Locke, a world-renowned endoscopist and a pioneer in the field of ERCP. Dr. Wang was a full time faculty member at Weill Cornell Medicine prior to joining Downtown Gastroenterology Associates.

    He is board certified in Gastroenterology and Internal Medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine.

    Dr. Wang is fluent in Mandarin Chinese and has a working proficiency of Cantonese, Spanish.

    Dr. Wallace Wang also cares for Dr. Jackson Kuan's former Flushing patients and practices in Brooklyn.
