Summary
- I trained in robotic surgery starting in 2009. In 2012, after completing over 100 cases, I was hired by the Permanente medical group, South Sacramento Kaiser, to start the complex GYN robotics program. After the program was vetted regionally, we were able to expand robotic surgery for complex gynecologic conditions across the entire Northern California Kaiser Permanente system. I currently lead this effort regionally, and I’ve been fortunate to build a very high volume practice over the last 11 years, with over 2,000 major robotic cases completed to date.
