Summary

  • I am a board-certified internist with 13 years of experience in private practice. I provide superb internal medicine and primary care to general medicine patients as well as many rheumatology patients that are treated at our Center. I serve as the Director of Internal medicine and Osteoporosis for the Joint Pain Center of New York. I was recently elected to be Fellow of the American College of Physicians. I was named to America's Top Doctors for Castle Connolly in 2013 and 2012. For over a decade, I have supervised and actively managed (in conjuction with my partner, Dr. Jay Adlersberg) the on-site infusions of Remicade, Orencia, Rituxan, Reclast, Boniva, Actemra, and Benlysta. My procedural skills include injections of joints/bursa, trigger fingers, ganglionic cysts, and trigger points. I have a broad primary care practice that emphasizes enduring partnerships with patients and a special emphasis on prevention. Screening for Abdominal Aortic Aneurism is performed in appropriate patients with on-site ultrasound. Nerve studies, ultrasound for bladder obstruction, pulmonary studies, hearing tests, cardiac halter monitors, and echocardiograms are all perfomred on site. Peripheral arterial disease studies are performed in appropriate patients on-site. I am also skilled in performing home sleep studies for the diagnosis and management of obstructive sleep apnea. I am interested in new primary care patients and in osteoporosis consultations. I am also interested in consulting opportunities, pharmaceutical consulting, and medical-legal reviews. I am a frequent medical presenter and speaker for Reclast (Zolendronic acid) and Atelvia (Actonel) for osteoporosis, and Exelon patch (Rivastigmine) for Alzheimer's Dementia. I also initiated the clinical usage of the cutting-edge Vectra blood test in our Center which we use to assess rheumatoid arthritis disease activity. I communicate securely with other physicians via doximity and e-prescribe via care360 portal.
