- William (Bill) Niehaus, MD is an Associate Professor in the Department of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation at the University of Colorado School of Medicine. He specializes in neurorehabilitation, caring for individuals recovering from spinal cord injury, traumatic brain injury, and stroke. Dr. Niehaus provides care across the continuum, including the intensive care unit, inpatient rehabilitation unit, and weekly outpatient clinics. He is also actively involved in the UCHealth Long COVID Clinic, supporting patients with complex post-viral recovery needs. In late 2024, he transitioned into the role of Chief Innovation Catalyst for the department and has been deeply engaged in resident education and mentorship within the CU Denver PM&R Department. Dr. Niehaus is the Co-Founder and President of the Colorado Rehabilitation Services Volunteer Partnership (RSVP) Clinic, a free clinic serving uninsured patients with catastrophic injuries (www.ColoradoRSVPclinic.org).
