Summary

I am a Practicing Pain Physician, dual board certified in Anesthesiology and Pain Medicine by the American Board of Anesthesiology.

I received my undergraduate degree from the University of Texas at Austin in Electrical Engineering, during which time I worked for the United States Navy as a civilian doing sonar research. I worked at an engineering firm in Houston for several years, but after experiencing the healthcare system first-hand, I decided to switch careers and become a physician.

I completed his M.D. with Distinction in Research at the University of Texas Health Science Center San Antonio, TX. I then completed an Internship in Neurosurgery, a Residency in Anesthesiology and a Fellowship in Pain Medicine at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha, NE.
