• Dr. Yassine Daoud is an ophthalmologist based in Columbia, MD, specializing in complex cataract-related issues, cornea and external diseases, and refractive surgery. Dr Daoud has an International referral practice and manages one of the busiest and most complex surgical cornea and cataract academic practices in the United States. He completed his medical education at Harvard Medical School and pursued further training through a fellowship and residency at Johns Hopkins University and Duke University Hospital, respectively. Since 2017, he has served as the Chair of Ophthalmology at Howard County General Hospital, Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. Dr. Daoud is experienced in treating conditions such as cataracts, keratoconus, cornea edema, Fuchs Dystrophy, Aphakia, and iris trauma.
