Dr. Yeon Joo Lee is an Infectious Disease specialist based in New York, NY, with subspecialties in transplant and immunocompromised states. She completed her medical education at Korea University College of Medicine and holds an MPH in Epidemiology from UCLA. Dr. Lee completed her residency in Internal Medicine at Korea University Medical Center and Hackensack University Medical Center/Englewood Hospital and Medical Center, followed by a fellowship in Infectious Disease at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. Her research and clinical expertise include c.diff colitis, BK virus, and human adenoviruses. Dr. Lee has published several studies in journals addressing topics like pneumococcal serotype in cancer patients, adenovirus infections post-transplant, and BK polyomavirus. She has also participated in a clinical trial on preventing recurrent CMV infection and received CMS Meaningful Use Stage 1 Certification in 2016.
