The University at Buffalo Pediatric Residency Program is a university-affiliated program in the heart of Buffalo, NY. The program offers a rich diversity in patients, both in population as well as diagnoses. Our varied clinical exposure is one of the strengths of our program. Over the last five years, 100% of our graduates have reported feeling ready for independent practice upon graduation. We typically have 50% of our graduates practice in General Pediatrics in clinical settings nationwide, and the other 50% pursue further training in pediatric subspecialties. We offer a curriculum in advocacy with an opportunity for ongoing advocacy work and/or research, curriculum, and mentoring in QI projects as well as research.
