The Child Neurology / Pediatrics Combined Residency Program at Cincinnati Children’s seeks to recruit a diverse workforce and prepares physicians for stimulating careers as clinicians, researchers, educators, and leaders in child neurology as well as for board certification. As one of the largest child neurology divisions in the country, we are dedicated to providing excellent resident clinical training from routine outpatient referrals to extremely rare conditions, spanning all subspecialties. The division has close alliances with clinicians in multiple subspecialties including interdisciplinary clinics, research, and educational activities. We also have specific clinics dedicated to underserved communities. We accept 5 trainees per year, creating a community of clinical care, scholarship, and comradery that is fully embedded in the missions of child health and developmental neurobiology. Our program emphasizes early mentorship, outpatient training, subspecialty exposure, and EEG monitoring. There are scholarship opportunities and resources within pediatrics and child neurology.
