Doximity Fellows Program

Applications are now open for the 2025–2026 Doximity Fellows Program!

As a Fellow, you’ll have the chance to share your voice with over two million clinicians through one of three tracks: Op-Med writing, clinical cases, or original videos. It’s a great opportunity to grow your professional presence and contribute meaningfully to the medical community.

Are you a passionate writer, researcher, or clinician with insights to share? Interested in using media to connect with peers and advance the conversation in medicine? We want to hear from you!

See below for details on benefits, responsibilities, and how to apply.

All Fellows will have the opportunity to:

  • Participate in unique opportunities on the Doximity network, including Q&As, clinician profiles, video interviews, and more.
  • Initiate, engage in, and foster community discussion on the Doximity network.
  • Provide Doximity with feedback and strategic guidance for ongoing product development.
  • Join a vibrant community of Doximity Fellows with opportunities to socialize, collaborate, and build relationships.

Fellowship Track Descriptions

  • Clinical Case Fellows provide six previously unpublished clinical cases for Doximity’s exclusive use on the newsfeed and in email digests. Clinical cases must feature, at a minimum, a short case description (four to six sentences), multiple-choice answer choices (up to five) with one correct answer, and one image or video. Clinical Case Fellows may also submit a malpractice case write-up to count toward one of their six cases. Fellows will have the opportunity to engage with Doximity members in discussions about their cases. New this year: Clinical Case Fellows may submit a clinical trial to share on the network (their own as a PI or a colleague’s) to count toward one of their six cases. APPs are strongly encouraged to apply.
  • Op-Med Fellows are responsible for submitting six thoughtful pieces of original writing throughout the year (roughly 700–1,200 words each). The writing must be narrative (versus clinical) and may chronicle patient encounters, opinions about health and medicine-related topics, and personal experiences within one’s specialty; examples can be found here. Fellows also have the option to write a conference report as one of their six pieces. Note: Fellows’ pieces will be edited, so applicants must be comfortable going back and forth with an editor and putting in several hours of drafting and revising each month. APPs and oncologists are strongly encouraged to apply.
  • Original Video Fellows are responsible for working with our original video team on topics for seven videos. These topics may be a combination of trending topics in their specialty, or broadly across all specialties. Fellows will participate in 1-2 virtual hour-long on-camera interviews from which Doximity’s original video team will edit 3–4 short videos. Fellows will also create 6-8 self-filmed DoxTalk videos (1-2 minutes in length) on trending topics in their specialty. Videos may be featured in Doximity’s email digests and/or on the newsfeed. Original Video Fellows should have their finger on the pulse of what topics are trending broadly in medicine or within their specialty. Clinician influencers, key opinion leaders, or those active on social media are strongly encouraged to apply.

Length of Program

The Doximity Fellows program is a one-year program starting August 15, 2025. All positions are remote.
