I am a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner with a doctorate (DNP). Although I have my doctorate, my patients have a friendly relationship with me and refer to me by my first name, Anastasia. I completed my training as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner in 1999 with Stony Brook University. I have 25+ years of experience evaluating and treating adults and children with mental health concerns that require medication management. I have worked in numerous large outpatient settings throughout my career and I continue to do so, which keeps my skills sharp and up to date. My private practice was started after the COVID-19 pandemic and is located in East Islip. It is known as "Lakeside Psychiatry". It is a small private pay practice in an intimate residential setting overlooking Upper Winganhauppauge Lake.
