He went on to complete his neurology residency at the Barrow Neurological Institute, followed by a clinical fellowship at the Cleveland Clinic in Ohio.
He is an active clinician–scholar with a robust record of peer-reviewed publications in areas spanning cognitive neurology, brain health, Alzheimer’s disease mechanisms, traumatic brain injury, neuroimaging, and sleep-related comorbidities.
Prior to joining the Cleveland Clinic, Dr. Kalra held faculty appointments at the University of California, San Francisco, and the Penn State University College of Medicine. His clinical interests include cognitive disorders, memory loss, dementia care, and the interface between neurological and behavioral health.
