Dr. Hardin is Co-Director of the Tampa Bay Adult Congenital Heart Center. He is a graduate of the University of Tennessee College of Medicine in Memphis, and subsequently completed residency and fellowship at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis. He is board-certified in adult congenital heart disease and pediatric cardiology, and a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology, American Academy of Pediatrics, and American Heart Association. He is a member of the affiliate faculty of the University of South Florida Morsani College of Medicine.
Dr. Hardin's clinical interests involve adults who have grown up with congenital heart disease, cardio-obstetrics, pulmonary arterial hypertension secondary to congenital heart disease, and cardiovascular complications of Marfan syndrome and similar genetic conditions.
Dr. Hardin attained the rank of Commander in the U.S. Navy Medical Corps, Fleet Marine Forces, having served on active duty with 1st Marine Division deployed to Iraq in 2004. He departed military service in 2006.
