Summary

• Dr. Lincoln Bickford is a bilingual, Board Certified child and adult psychiatrist and scientist deeply interested in providing exceptional mental health care as well as leadership in research and training. He spent his childhood in Puerto Rico, did his undergraduate education at Stanford University, and received MD and PhD degrees from the medical scientist training program at Cornell Medical College, the Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center, and the Rockefeller University, with graduate research in biophysics and neuroscience.

  He completed his residency in psychiatry and fellowship in child and adolescent psychiatry at Columbia and Cornell Universities and the New York State Psychiatric Institute, and has been a professor on the psychiatry faculty of Columbia University. He also has a strong interest in psychodynamic and mindfulness-based therapies, and is the founding director of a meditation academy in Central America.
