After finishing an internship in Internal Medicine, she completed an Ophthalmology residency at the University of Michigan Kellogg Eye Center. Dr. Katz also served as Chief Resident of the Department of Ophthalmology at the University of Michigan.
    Dr. Katz is board certified in the field of Ophthalmology and provides comprehensive medical and surgical eye care. Dr. Katz has practiced ophthalmology in the Commonwealth of Kentucky since 1999. Dr. Katz founded the Jessamine Eye Center in Nicholasville, Kentucky in 2002. Since 2011, the Jessamine Eye Center has been a community clinic of the University of Kentucky Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Science.
