  • Dr. Paul Bhella is a Staff Cardiologist and the Program Director of Cardiology at the John Peter Smith Health Network in Fort Worth, TX. His daily activities include seeing cardiac patients in the clinic and hospital settings, interpreting diagnostic studies of the heart, teaching medical students and residents and carrying out administrative responsibilities within the Division of Cardiology.

    In addition to patient care, Dr. Bhella is actively engaged in teaching and research. He is appointed at the level of Professor at the TCU and UNTHSC School of Medicine and serves as the Theme Lead for Patient Safety and Continuous Quality Improvement for the longitudinal course Preparation for Practice.

    Scientifically, Dr. Bhella has published over 30 papers in peer reviewed scientific journals with a focus on the fields of cardiovascular physiology and cardiac imaging.

    Dr. Bhella recently served as the Chair of the Physician Board of Directors of the Acclaim Physician Group (2016-2018) and currently serves as the group’s Program Director for Cardiology. Dr. Bhella has been selected as a Fort Worth Magazine Top Doc for the past 5 years (2014-2019).

    Dr. Bhella is also the Founder and CEO of Remote Cardiology Services (RCS), PLLC (www.remotecardiologyservices.com). RCS helps rural and safety net clinics and hospitals with telecardiology needs, such as the interpretation on electrocardiograms, echocardiograms, nuclear stress tests, cardiac CT scans and vascular ultrasounds.
