- Dr. Bhella is a board-certified specialist in general cardiology with expertise in valvular heart disease, heart failure and the prevention and treatment of coronary artery disease. His clinical practice is with Baylor, Scott and White Health in North Texas. His daily activities include evaluating and treating cardiac patients in the clinic and hospital settings as well as performing and interpreting diagnostic studies of the heart. Dr. Bhella has been selected as a Fort Worth Magazine Top Doc for the past 8 years (2014-2022).
In addition to patient care, Dr. Bhella is actively engaged in teaching and research. He is appointed at the level of Professor at the TCU School of Medicine, where he was an inaugural faculty member and has taught patient safety and quality improvement since 2019. He has published over 30 papers in peer reviewed scientific journals with a focus on the fields of cardiovascular physiology and cardiac imaging.
Dr. Bhella is the Founder and CEO of Remote Cardiology Services (RCS). RCS assists rural and safety net clinics and hospitals across the county with telecardiology needs, such as the interpretation of electrocardiograms, echocardiograms, nuclear stress tests, cardiac CT scans and vascular ultrasounds.
In regards to leadership, Dr. Bhella served as the Chair of the Physician Board of Directors of the Acclaim Physician Group (2016-2018) and as the Program Director for Cardiology with the Acclaim Physician Group (2019-2022).
