Summary

• Double board certified as Diplomate of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology & Diplomate of the American Board of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, I have been practicing psychiatry for over 20 years.
  I own Fermo Psychiatric Solutions, Inc. and East Cooper Psychiatric Solutions, LLC.
  I am dynamic in my approach, combining evidence-based medicine, practicing the "best standards", and understanding the "biopsychosocial" model, while being patient oriented in my approach to diagnosis and treatment. I stay on the cutting edge of psychiatric treatment interventions, often collaborating, with co-morbid disease states. I have been involved in academia, clinical, and administrative psychiatry. I do live presentations on psychiatric disease states and treatment interventions to my community, as well as worked with pharmaceutical co. on advisory boards, CME, psycho-pharmaceutical presentations across the country. My future endeavor is to provide telepsychiatry to extend my reach to patients with limited access or in underserved areas, provide consultations and possibly CME to my fellow colleagues.
