Summary
- Southern California native, UC Irvine undegrad and MD/MBA Alum. Radiation Oncology training at the renowned MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston. During residency, completed a fellowship with the Institute for Cancer Care Innovation, served on several institutional operations and research committees, and published over 25 peer-reviewed manuscripts. Continually involved in the Rad Onc community and national organizations such as ASTRO and ACR.
Now back in southern California/San Diego as a board-certified Radiation Oncologist with Scripps MD Anderson. Treating cancers of the lung/thorax, brain, head & neck, skin, GU system (prostate/bladder), as well as lymphoma and sarcoma in collaboration with a fantastic team of in-house and community oncologists, surgeons, and other specialists. Also have a portion of my time dedicated to research focused around improving disparities in cancer treatment, finding novel biomarkers for early cancer detection and customized treatment therapies, and improving the cancer care experience for our patients and staff.
