Doximity Fellowship Program

Doximity is pleased to announce the opening of our 2017-2018 Fellowship application. The fellowship is a fantastic opportunity to become a thought leader among your peers by writing original articles for Doximity and by kindling conversation on impactful stories and research.

Candidates must be:

  • Eligibility
    • An M.D. or D.O. who has completed residency and is licensed to practice medicine in the U.S.
    • An M.D. or D.O. who is currently in residency or fellowship
    • A PA or nurse practitioner who has graduated from an accredited training program and is state-licensed and nationally certified with a master’s in PA studies or a master’s in advanced practice nursing
    • A PharmD or RPH
    • A medical student currently enrolled in a U.S. LCME-accredited medical school or AOA-accredited osteopathic school
  • A Doximity member
  • Forward-thinking and enthusiastic leaders in their fields
  • Eager to share clinical insights with peers
  • The ideal candidate will have writing experience, whether in the form of a personal or institutional blog, online media, or a significant social media presence.

Fellows will:

  • Create original content for the Doximity member collaborative blog Op-(m)ed and Doximity’s news product, DocNews
  • Initiate and engage in discussion of emerging literature and medical news with other fellows and the broader community of Doximity users
  • Provide comments and feedback on articles submitted by Doximity editors
  • Provide feedback and strategic guidance for ongoing product development

Length of Fellowship

The Doximity Fellowship program is a 1 year appointment. The time commitment is approximately 1-2 hours per week.

This fellowship is a remote position.


As a fellow, you will join an elite team of clinicians, technologists, and healthcare entrepreneurs in the strategic development and testing of emerging mobile health technology. Your work will directly impact thousands of practicing healthcare professionals. As a contributing writer, you’ll also raise your profile as a thought-leader in your field. Additionally, we will provide a honorarium and stock grants to qualified fellows.
