Dr. Antonios Mammis is a board-certified Clinical Professor of Neurosurgery at NYU Langone Health. He has subspecialty training in functional and restorative neurosurgery. He completed his medical education at Columbia University and his residency and internship at Rutgers Health/New Jersey Medical School. After building the neuromodulation program at Rutgers, he was recruited by NYU Langone Health, where he currently practices, with offices in Astoria Queens, Cobble Hill Brooklyn and East Meadow Long Island. His expertise includes deep brain stimulation, spinal cord stimulation, neuromodulation, and stereotactic radiosurgery including Cyberknife. Dr. Mammis has contributed to over 80 publications in peer-reviewed journals, is the editor of two textbooks, and has been recognized with honors such as the Ronald Tasker Award and multiple nominations for the Golden Apple Resident Teaching Award. Dr Mammis is the recipient of the Top Mentor Award, for his dedication to the education of medical students.
